KaussMail is a Java IMAP mail client. This program enables the Pingtel xpressa or instant xpressa phone to read e-mails.
Only the IMAP mail protocol is supported.
Features :
- read IMAP e-mail from a mail server.
- handle different mail folder.
Version : V1.0 for pingtel Version 1.2.x. Store application properties in a serialized class (this is the recomended way from Pingtel).
Missing features at this time :
- support only e-mail read
- not able to delete mail
- not able to move mail
- mail writing not supported
- no SSL support
- message lamp not supported
- time based email check not supported (every 10min)
- no POP3
Tested on soft phone xpressa version 2.0.1.3 and real Pingtel phone xpressa 1.2.7.4
The kaussmail.jar file include this SUN jar file because I have no idea how to install this jar files separate on the phone.

Installation :
To install on your phone, go to your phone's Web User Interface and enter the following in the Applications page:
http://www.kauss.org/Stephan/kaussmail_1_1.jar (for xpressa 1.2.x)
In case of an error please enable the Debug option in the config menu and send the output to me. The output is written on the telnet port of your xpressa phone. If you use the instant xpressa phone edit the ixpressa.bat file (change jre to jrew).
